The thing people worry about at midnight is not the plumbing, it is the invoice. So we deal with it before anyone gets in a van. When you call, we talk through what is happening, tell you what the after-hours attendance covers, and quote it before we dispatch. If that doesn't suit you, nothing has cost you anything.
Once our plumber is on site and can see the actual fault, the repair itself is quoted and agreed in writing before the work starts. Nothing gets added quietly, and nothing gets done on the assumption you'd probably want it. If the job turns out to be bigger than it looked — a collapsed sewer line rather than a root blockage, a failed cylinder rather than a thermostat — we stop, show you what we've found, and re-quote so you can decide.
That's the same "No surprises, ever" commitment we make on every job, day or night: the price you agree is the price on the invoice. For non-urgent work you can get the same written quote through our contact page without the after-hours attendance at all.
