Local plumbers who know Maroubra
Need a plumber in Maroubra? The suburb is mostly post-war: solid 1950s and 60s brick homes on generous blocks through Maroubra Junction and South Maroubra, red-brick walk-ups along the main roads, and a beachfront strip where the salt does the same damage it does in Coogee and Bondi. The ground is different here though — sandy soil over much of the suburb, which moves and settles around older drainage and lets sections of clay sewer drop out of alignment. Combined with original galvanised supply in unrenovated homes and hot water tanks that were installed a long time ago, the calls tend to be blocked or bellied sewers, low pressure and dead storage heaters. We come in via Anzac Parade or Maroubra Road, which keeps most of the suburb inside a short run.
